How To Qualify For A Loan In Toronto After A Bankruptcy?

If you have filed for bankruptcy in Toronto you may already be wondering how you are going to start rebuilding your credit. The challenge is that after a bankruptcy you will have to find a company who is willing to give you a second chance to prove yourself.

The first thing you should do is to think about other components within your financial profile that would be attractive to a lender. You will want to emphasize these points in your credit application. There are 5 things that most lenders look for when considering an applicant for credit. These are character, capital, collateral, consideration and credit.

If you have good job stability, income and some assets, you are a better candidate for credit. So what are the most popular forms of credit that someone who has filed for bankruptcy could qualify for? A secured credit card, a small personal loan from a finance company or a secured loan against a vehicle are some options if you need to rebuild your credit.

Do a lot of research and shop around. Don’t confuse payday loans as a credit product that will rebuild your credit. Payday loans do not report to the credit report. Neither do pre-paid master cards.

If you have filed for bankruptcy, the faster you begin re-building your credit the better. There are some loan companies who will start helping you re-establish your credit as soon as the day after you have filed for bankruptcy.

An Inexpensive Way To Expose Your Business

Whether you are a home based business, a small business or just starting out, you will need a marketing strategy so let’s get right to the point. There are many reasons Social Media can be a productive marketing platform.

What is Social Media?

Social Media Marketing is an online networking process that allows you to expose your website and business, drive traffic to your site and create credibility. Traditional advertising like newspaper and radio are far too expensive for the average business owner and so Social Media is the inexpensive way to get the recognition you need.

What are the benefits?

Social Media enables you to get the message out faster and to more people. Through the more traditional channels it may take hours or days for your information to reach a consumer whereas the Social Media vehicle allows your news, audio, videos and other content to reach a consumer instantaneously. Another benefit is that it can be a useful tool for enhancing your brand and image through content released through blogs and articles.

What is my next step?

The most difficult part is starting something new. With so many different Social Media sites, it can be overwhelming. The most obvious place to start is sites like Facebook, twitter, Blogger, LinkedIn etc.. Once you register to these accounts, create a professional profile and start building communities is when these sites become the most valuable. You will need to start creating articles to post to blogs and article sharing sites, you may want to create a contest or host an event to lure fans to your site pages. The possibilities are endless. The main thing you should realize is that the actual information that you release on these sites is what draws attention to your website and will determine whether the consumer is more likely to purchase your product or service.

You may want to start researching the different sites and what is involved to help determine the right sites for your Social Media Campaign. You’ll want to figure out how often you want and are able to post content to the different sites. You may want to post on a daily, weekly or even monthly basis. It’s also wise to remember that if you do not have the time yourself and if your budget permits, you may also search for sources that can maintain your platform for you which is still more cost effective than traditional marketing.

You’ll want to open your mind. Anything can inspire an idea for a costume so look around and pay attention when watching TV, looking through magazines and even things around your house.
We’ve put together some budget friendly costume ideas to help that will steal the show. Most of the items you will need can either be found around the house or at a dollar store.

Bubble Bath costume – Take a white laundry basket and cut out 2 holes so that the legs can fit through. You can also choose to cut the entire bottom and with some material, fit through the laundry basket holes that are either there or you can create to make shoulder straps. If your laundry basket has holes, use a white bed sheet to cover the inside so that the basket looks like a solid tub with no holes. Now blow up pearl white, white or pink balloons and tie them around the top rim of the basket representing the bubbles in the bath. You can have them overflowing for added effect. You can then wear either white or a nude coloured outfit complete with a shower cap, slippers and maybe carry around a bath brush. You can also use a rubber duck and tape it over top a balloon.

Dresser costume – Get a large cardboard box. Cut out a hole for the head and holes for the arms. Draw a horizontal line going down the center of the front of the box and 2 vertical lines creating 6 rectangles that represent the drawer. You’ll then want to get 6 styrofoam balls, glue one in the center of each rectangle to be the pull handles of the dresser. You can then paint the entire cardboard box white if you wish. Glue accessories such as hairclips or brushes on the top of the box. You can also cut half a sock and glue it on the top line of one of the rectangles to look as it the sock is hanging out the drawer. You can also wear a lampshade on your head so that your face and neck look like the base of the lamp.

Grapes costume - Wear purple, green or brown fitted clothes or tights. Blow up purple or green balloons and attach them with safety pins all over your body remembering to keep either the bottom or top more full creating a triangle like shape. You can top the costume up by painting your face and hands the same colour.

Nerd costume – Wear pants that are too small, a shirt that is buttoned up wrong or tucked in perfectly in the pants that are pulled up way too high. Slick your hair back, wear a pair of glasses with tape in the middle. White socks that peek under your too short pants, and pens in your shirt pocket. Paint some ink under the shirt pocket to create the look of ink from an exploded pen and carry a newspaper under your arm.
